American RnB singer Ashanti has tested positive for covid -19. The artist, who was recently on vacation in Kenya, revealed that she tested positive just before her highly anticipated Versus battle with Keysha Cole. The award-winning musician shared the sad news through her Instagram account in a post which read: 'Hey y’all I can’t believe I’m saying this but I tested positive for covid-19. I’m okay and not in any pain.’ The talented songwriter addressed this message to fans who were eagerly waiting for the RnB Versus battle between her and Keisha Cole. The event has been postponed to 9th January 2021 to give Ashanti time to recover. The singer, who is currently in self-quarantine at her home in the United States, was in Kenya last week. While in Nairobi, she visited the giraffe manor and Nairobi National park with a group of friends. We wish her a quick recovery.
