The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has introduced 43 new job vacancies aimed at reinforcing its commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability within Kenya's law enforcement entities. Established under Act No. 35 of 2011, IPOA functions as a state authority with a core mandate of promoting integrity within Kenya's policing institutions. By impartially investigating complaints against police officers, recommending disciplinary measures where appropriate, and advocating for systemic reforms, IPOA plays a pivotal role in upholding the standards of law enforcement accountability.
The newly announced vacancies include a wide range of roles, from managerial and administrative positions to investigative and support functions. Among the prominent openings are the deputy director of human resource management and administration, senior assistant directors in finance, human resource management, and inspections, along with various assistant director roles across different departments.

Aspiring candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for any of the advertised positions are urged to submit their applications no later than Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
